This model features a large fixed transformer plus a variable
transformer and the ability to boost or buck incoming line voltage - it still uses the spun aluminum floss
pan. The cabinet is stainless steel. No paint to chip - whatever you
normally use to keep your stainless steel looking perfect will be the
same thing you want to use here. So many of the components last a
lifetime.
Today there are only two manufacturers of variable transformers. We
will continue manufacturing this machine as long as variable
transformers are available. 3000 watts.
